Once again in Christmas 2025, we enthusiastically renew our support for “Nipoti di Babbo Natale”, the initiative by Un Sorriso in Più Onlus that brings small yet meaningful moments of happiness to elderly residents in Italian nursing homes each year. For us, it has become a special tradition — a precious opportunity to strengthen our bond with the people who often encounter our aids in their daily lives.
An initiative that grows and brings people together
The 2024 edition saw participation grow once more: 491 facilities involved and 9,033 wishes fulfilled across Italy. These numbers reflect a deep need for connection and, at the same time, the extraordinary generosity of those who choose to gift a smile. This year as well, starting in November, the wishes of the elderly return to fill the initiative’s platform, ready to be chosen by new “grandchildren.”
Our engagement, beyond the donation
For Moretti S.p.A., this project goes far beyond financial support. As has been the case for several years now, some of our colleagues chose to take part actively, becoming “grandchildren” in every sense. They contacted nursing homes directly, listened to stories, gathered preferences, and thoughtfully sought out what could truly make the residents’ Christmas special.
A gift that becomes a relationship
The wishes were selected with care and delivered with attention, accompanied by moments of sincere dialogue — often through video calls capable of bridging distance and filling the screen with smiles, emotions and gratitude. For us, these encounters represent the heart of the initiative: an exchange of humanity that transforms a simple gift into a connection, even if only for a few minutes.
An invitation to be present
We invite everyone who shares these values to join the project. Fulfilling a wish is not just about giving an object, but about sharing listening, presence, and attention. It is often these gestures that warm the hearts of those who receive — and, surprisingly, of those who give.

This year, we choose once again to be part of it — with a voice, a smile, a greeting that travels across the screen and becomes closeness. Because Christmas is made of encounters and the most beautiful ones are always those you do not expect.
