There is a famous TV advert that says “we are made for change”. 

The advertising slogan is basically an invitation to change the furnishing of our home and to turn the area most familiar to us into an ever-changing space that always meets our needs.

It is a powerful and important message: we are not just being invited to accept changes with enthusiasm, but also to rethink the criteria on which we base our everyday choices.

The advert reminds us, broadly speaking, that change is a part of who we are and that, particularly at a time like this, when we are feeling overwhelmed by events beyond our control, we cannot just stop.

This is precisely the case here at Moretti. Even at this difficult time, when the attention being focused on the health and safety of our collaborators and on the territory is unceasing, we have accepted change and started new and important initiatives.

Moretti Iberica slu opened on 22 September this year. It is a new company, in the “format” of the Italian Moretti, and has been opened in the heart of Spain, in Barcelona.

The “Spanish” Moretti forms part of a broader internationalisation plan, intended to localise the Italian organisation, by repeating and adapting it, in new competitive contexts.

The new company in Barcelona will therefore have new offices and a new and efficient warehouse, together with a corresponding logistics department, and a sales force throughout the territory will be created.

Our aim is to reach Spanish customers, with a warehouse of over 500 products and a continual, direct and reliable service in the area.

We have been distributing our products in Spain for over a decade now.

However, during this historical health emergency and with the ensuing drastic reduction in essential services for many fragile categories, we want to invest in ourselves, by taking the assistance, quality and service that have always been the hallmark of our company beyond the national borders.

Right from the beginning of the pandemic, and even during the hardest moments, Moretti has never forgotten its role as a supplier of the National Healthcare Service, nor the importance of its skills in relation to management of the emergency, so it has never stopped operating.

We have changed the product mix and dealt with the Covid prevention needs by supplying the necessary medical devices, first in the local area and then throughout the entire country.

We are ready for change

We are now looking westward. We are ready for change, ready to reorganise our “home” and ready to make a difference for the elderly and for people with disabilities.

We are made for change and for growth. With the same quality as always!
